Year 9 historians visit the International Slavery Museum

On Thursday 29 June our Year 9 historians visited the International Slavery Museum, located at Liverpool's Albert Dock. Students participated in a workshop led by local experts and explored Liverpool's historic links to the slave trade. The history was also set in the context of the continuing issues around race, diversity and inclusion faced by many people today. The visit helped to open horizons for many students and we hope to afford the same opportunity for many more in the future.
