Year 10 Summer School - University of Liverpool
A group of Year 10 students took part in the 'Year 10 Summer School' at the University of Liverpool on Monday and Tuesday where they were given a flavour of what it would be like to go to University. The experience started off with a tour of the university, where they found out about what it would be like to live on campus. This was followed by a series of talks by under graduates and post graduates of subjects varying from dentistry and anatomy to computer science and maths.

The students then got the chance to take part in some university lessons that they had chosen for themselves including A.I., psychology, chemical engineering and classics. As well as this, they also learnt about the opportunity to study abroad, University societies as well as the costs involved and grades needed to study different courses.

All of the students were a credit to themselves and the school and received great feedback from both the lecturers and the university staff.
