UKMT Team Maths challenge success!
A huge well done to our team of Year 8 and Year 9 students who represented Dixons Fazakerley Academy at the UKMT Team Maths Challenge last Tuesday.
The Team Maths Challenge (TMC) promotes mathematical dexterity, teamwork, and communication skills, while giving students the chance to compete against pupils from other schools across the region. Our team took on four demanding rounds - including a crossnumber and a fast‑paced relay - working together brilliantly to problem‑solve under pressure.
They competed alongside twelve other schools and showed exceptional determination, collaboration, and mathematical thinking throughout.
We are incredibly proud of all four students for the way they represented DFA. Well done, team!
