PE Extra Curricular Activities

Posted 9th December 2024

The PE department have had a busy few weeks with extra-curricular activities.

Year 11 boys participated in a Dixons cup football tournament in Manchester, coming away with a draw and a narrow defeat to Dixons Croxteth. Year 8 boys participated in a Liverpool schools basketball tournament, hosted by Archbishop beck with 8 schools across the borough battling it out, Dixons Fazakerley Academy exited at the quarter finals stage after 4 competitive games. The Year 7 and 8 girls football team continued to develop, they lost narrowly to Broadgreen in a Dixons Cup Fixture. Year 10 boys played their first game of the year against Dixons Broadgreen which unfortunately ended in a defeat, with lots of positives to take away into their next game.

Well done to all involved, we will continue to represent Dixons Fazakerley at local Liverpool and Dixons Cup competitions. Extra-curricular clubs are available for all pupils every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

We currently offer clubs for football, basketball, netball, cricket, badminton, dodgeball and table tennis. If you don't already, come along and try them all out!
