Liverpool school's parliament visit
Posted 28th November 2025

As part of our ongoing commitment to pupil leadership and inclusion, a group of our student leaders recently visited Liverpool Town Hall to take part in the Liverpool Schools Parliament. This follow-up visit built on work students completed last half term and gave them the opportunity to come together with young people from across the city to share their views on issues that matter most to them.
During the session, our students took part in discussions focused on how schools and communities can better support people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). They confidently shared their ideas, listened to the experiences of others, and contributed to meaningful conversations about inclusion, equality and positive change.
This visit was a valuable learning experience that encouraged students to develop their confidence, communication skills and understanding of civic responsibility. We are extremely proud of the way our students represented the school and used their voice to advocate for others. Opportunities like this empower young people to influence the world around them and be active citizens in their community.
