HPV Vaccination Assembly
This week, our school welcomed the Liverpool School Immunisation Nursing Team, who delivered an informative and engaging assembly on the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination. The session was aimed at students in Year 7 and Year 8, helping them understand the purpose of the vaccine, how it works, and why it plays an important role in protecting long-term health.
The nurses discussed the benefits of the HPV vaccination in a clear and age-appropriate way, helping students feel more confident and informed ahead of the upcoming immunisation programme. We were incredibly proud of how our students conducted themselves—they listened attentively, showed respect throughout, and asked thoughtful questions.
