Harry Kessler Holocaust survivor

We were honoured to welcome a very special guest to our school today Holocaust survivor and author Harry Kessler. Harry delivered an incredibly powerful and inspirational presentation to our Year 10 students, sharing the story of his early life, his survival during one of history’s darkest periods, and the remarkable journey that followed.

Drawing from his memoir, My Accidental Life, Harry spoke with honesty, courage, and warmth, offering students a deeply personal insight into the impact of the Holocaust and the importance of resilience, hope, and tolerance. His message resonated strongly with everyone in the room, sparking thoughtful reflection and meaningful discussion.

It was a privilege to have Harry join us, and we are incredibly grateful for the time he spent with our students, helping them connect with history in such a profound and human way.
