Gift of Reading Initiative

This week, our library assistants have been spreading holiday cheer by delivering Christmas books to our Year 7 and Year 8 pupils as part of our Gift of Reading initiative. Each pupil had the exciting opportunity to choose from a curated list of around 15 fantastic titles, carefully selected to cater to a wide range of interests and tastes. The aim of this initiative is to celebrate the joy of reading and provide every student with a special gift that encourages them to relax, explore new worlds, and nurture their imagination over the festive season. By placing a book in the hands of every pupil, we hope to inspire a lifelong love of reading while adding a little extra magic to their holiday break. Merry Christmas from the library team at DFA!
