Celebrating our students at the Everton football club 'She Inspires' initiative

We are incredibly proud of the students who represented Dixons Fazakerley Academy during our recent visit to LCFA Sefton for the Everton Football Club She Inspires celebration event. From the moment we departed school to the moment we returned later that afternoon, every student demonstrated outstanding maturity, enthusiasm, and teamwork.

Throughout the day, our students took part in a series of confidence‑building and leadership‑focused activities designed to empower young people and help them develop essential life skills. They approached every challenge with positivity, resilience, and a willingness to support one another.

A highlight of the event was the unique opportunity to play football alongside members of the police. Our students embraced this experience with respect, sportsmanship, and genuine enjoyment - showing exactly what it means to be role models both on and off the pitch.

Staff from Everton football club, police officers, and representatives from partner organisations all took the time to commend our students. They were particularly impressed by the respect shown not only towards adults but also towards students from other schools who attended the celebration.

We could not be prouder of how brilliantly they represented Dixons Fazakerley Academy. Their behaviour, attitude, and character truly reflected our core values, and they showcased the very best of what it means to be part of our academy community.
