Welcome to the Class of 2029

This week, Dixons Fazakerley Academy has had the pleasure of welcoming the Class of 2029 into DFA Life. It has been fantastic to see the new Year 7 cohort actively immersing themselves into our culture and spending time getting to know their Advisors, Class teachers and new friends.
Students have taken part in sessions where they have looked at our core values of determination, integrity and respect whilst also creating aspirational targets for their future. All students have had the opportunity to experience wonderful lessons in a range of different subjects and have begun to complete their DFA Reads programme each morning after Morning Meeting.
Overall, the year group have been a pleasure to teach and have at DFA. Many staff members have commented on how respectful and kind the students have been in their lessons, and it has been clear that they have been working hard as some of students have even received Golden Tickets!
As a school, we are incredibly proud of the determination to succeed that Year 7 have demonstrated to staff this week. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for the Class of 2029.
