Local MP Visits Dixons Fazakerley

On Friday 6th September we were delighted to receive a visit from Dan Carden, MP for Liverpool Walton, to see the school in action. Dan, Mr Wilson and Mrs Simms, our community co-ordinator, discussed how we can all work in partnership to ensure Dixons Fazakerley is at the heart of community. The upcoming launch of the community hub, the role of local businesses leaders and the work of local charities were all discussed as Dixons Fazakerley continues to strengthen community ties. Dan was also able to visit the brand new, £350,000, toilets built by Dixons Academies Trust at the request of our students and he was almost as impressed as the students by the recent works! Dixons Fazakerley will always work in partnership with our community and we were proud to showcase our wonderful students, staff and families once again.
